Anthony David crept on the scene a few years ago with his album, Three Cords and the Truth, and I was sure that he would be a staple in the fabric of Neo-Soul music. The album was an awesome debut with songs that are sweet, sensual and political coming together to create a cohesive effort. With his smooth, soulful voice, and the heavy acoustic presence; the album is still the perfect compliment to a lazy Sunday morning.

His follow-up Red Clay Chronicles, was just as solid, though different from the first. He eased up on the acoustic a bit and leaned a little more on studio production; but that sensual voice of his can't be masked.

I've been waiting patiently for a new album, but it's been two years. I just have to ask; "Anthony, where are you?" Come back...your music is missed.
